Roti Canai: Once again, a Malay restaurant presents parathas and home-style chicken curry that are far, far superior to any produced by most Indian restaurants in North America. These parathas were thicker than the ones at Peninsula but are still very soft and light. I preferred them to Peninsula’s. The chicken curry is very different from the one served at Peninsula—less redolent of cinnamon and spiked more heavily with lime—and was also very good. My favourite of the things we ate.
