The meal got off to a terrible start with this “Robin’s Egg: garlic custard egg/potato nest/black garlic puree”. The flavour of burnt garlic coated my tongue and it took a few courses and a lot of water before it finally disappeared.

(Also: robins’ eggs are blue; is this named for one of the chefs?)
