A strong ammonia tang as I unwrap it but it passes. Creamy texture and quite salty at first but the funk emerges, getting ashier as well as it goes. Might be a bit past its prime—not as good as either the classic stilton or the Shropshire Blue. Very good with the spiced plum chutney.
