Chung King Spicy Chicken. This is always disappointing at Grand Szechuan—I don’t know why we ever order it, hope maybe—but was rather nice here, if not very much like the iterations at the Sichuan restaurants in the SGV. The chicken was nice and crisp, it had just enough heat, but it also had a little too much bell pepper flavour. Again, very little ma la flavour.
