Boiled Fish in Szechuan Hot Spicy Sauce

Boiled Fish in Szechuan Hot Spicy Sauce. This is one of the missus’ favourite dishes at Grand Szechuan and as we haven’t ordered it there in a while (on their menu it’s “Fish Fillet and Tofu in Szechuan Chili Broth”) we decided to get it here; and man, it blew Grand Szechuan’s version out of the water! Rather more extravagant with the oil (as you can probably guess from the photo) but, as with the Ma Po Tofu, the sauce down below was richer and had greater depth of flavour. It was also a little light on the napa cabbage (not visible here but lurking underneath along with bean sprouts). It was not light on the heat (we’d asked for it extra spicy as well).
