Roast duck over steamed rice. This was ordered so that the almost-2 year old could have something to eat, but frankly it was a relief to be able to turn to it occasionally from the fireworks elsewhere on the table. It came with a wonderful spicy dipping sauce made with tamarind (with sliced hot chillies marinated in it), and a bed of greens between the duck and the rice.
