Though in no way an exclusively Hyderabadi dish (it is broadly speaking a Muslim dish that has variations in all the historically Muslim centers of South Asia) the Hyderabadi Mirchi ka Saalan is an iconic dish. (Mirchi=chillies, Saalan=sauce/gravy, broadly speaking). This was quite good and if I sound like an asshole for saying that I make a better version please bear in mind that I have a very good Hyderabadi home recipe.
