I was one of those who got this and I thought it was fine. The scallops were seared and seated on a sunchoke puree. Again, there’s a lot of stuff going on here–shaved celery, apple, toasted hazelnuts, apple-celery gel etc.-but I thought it all came together nicely. My reservations were with the scallops which, either through mode of preparation or lack of freshness, were not as sweet as I would have liked.
